Things to Do
Avenida Revolución
The famous tourist strip has evolved beyond its party reputation. Today you'll find art galleries, craft cocktail bars, and cultural spaces alongside the souvenir shops.
Colonia Cacho
Tijuana's creative district, filled with galleries, design studios, independent restaurants, and the craft brewery scene that has earned the city recognition among beer enthusiasts.
Valle de Guadalupe
A 90-minute drive south into Baja's wine country, the Valle de Guadalupe has become one of the most exciting wine regions in the world. Over 100 wineries line the valley, many with open-air restaurants serving regional cuisine.
Playas de Tijuana
The beach neighborhood at the western edge of the city, where the border fence meets the Pacific Ocean. A boardwalk, seafood restaurants, and a more relaxed pace distinguish this area from the urban core.
Getting There
Tijuana is accessible by foot, car, or the Cross Border Xpress (CBX) pedestrian bridge from San Diego's Otay Mesa to the Tijuana airport. Walking across at the San Ysidro border crossing takes 15–30 minutes; returning to the US can take significantly longer.
